WHERE WE STAND

THE HOUSING MATH SIMPLY ISN’T MATHING.

The reality is that average rent has radically outpaced wages for decades, turning basic shelter into a competitive sport. Gen Z did everything right—got the degrees, took on the side hustles, and clocked the hours—yet the traditional "starter home" has been completely priced out of existence. When rent eats over half your income and institutional investors snap up affordable properties, it’s not a personal budgeting failure; it’s a systemic crisis. We know you aren't looking for luxury, but instead you’re rightfully demanding the baseline housing stability that previous generations took for granted. Join us in organizing, voting, and demanding real structural reform—because everyone deserves a zip code they can actually afford to live in.

WHAT OUR CANDIDATES SAY

“I want to lower housing costs. We need to stop corporate landlords from engaging in market manipulation to artificially hike rents, ban Wall Street from buying up housing stock to enrich wealthy investors while making it harder for families to afford homes, expand the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, repeal outdated red tape that hinders the construction of housing, support legislation to lower property insurance costs, and create a federal task force charged with helping communities use quality, cost-effective options like factory-built “modular” homes to speed up construction timelines.”
